Wild Flower Cyanotype 23

Wild Flower Cyanotype 23

from 150.00

An original Wildflower Cyanotype produced by photographer Kasia Wozniak. Our shared love of wild flowers and Kasia’s passion for experimental image making has led to this exciting collaboration.

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print, made by placing objects of interest on paper coated with an iron compound wash. As the surface of the paper turns a rich Prussian blue or cyan, a silhouette of the object is revealed.

The incidental nature of the cyanotype process beautifully captures the ephemerality of these local wild flowers and delicate stems picked from our own garden.

We are offering our Cyanotypes either unframed, or framed in a carefully chosen contemporary white aluminium frame with a white mount to offset the artworks.

200 gsm, 100% cellulose acid free watercolour paper is used for each individual artwork. The paper has been hand coated with the chemical solution, and as a result the hue/vibrance of the blue may vary.
