Wild Flower Cyanotype

Wild Flower Cyanotype

from 125.00

JamJar Edit have collaborated with photographer Kasia Wozniak to create beautiful hand crafted cyanotype images of wild flowers picked in Peacock Yard, South London.

An early photographic process, cyanotypes are images made by placing objects of interest on paper coated with an iron compound wash. As the surface of the paper turns a rich Prussian blue or cyan, a silhouette of the object is revealed.

The incidental nature of the cyanotype process beautifully captures the ephemerality of the wild flowers found and picked from near our studios.

This original is signed and numbered (bottom left) by Kasia Wozniak.

We have carefully chosen a contemporary white aluminium frame and a white mount to offset the cyanotypes.
