Sweet Pea. Grown by Jane Scotter at Fern Verrow, a biodynamic farm at the foothills of the Black Mountains in Herefordshire. JamJar have worked closely with Fern Verrow’s exquisite flowers, arranging them throughout the Summer months for Skye Gyngell’s restaurant ‘Spring’ at Somerset House. Jane’s sweet peas work beautifully as a cut flower and smell divine, but we couldn’t resist asking for a few extras this season to press and preserve.
This single sweet pea has been preserved using the traditional method of flower pressing. It has been mounted and framed at Peacock Yard, South London.
Mounted on cream 1400 micron mount board, this botanical specimen is framed by a subtle border scored into the mount, giving this traditional art form a beautiful modern finish.
Our botanicals are presented in a bespoke aluminium 5mm x 35mm matte black box frame with UV coated conservation glazing to offer maximum protection from exposure to light.
We suggest to hang your beautiful pressed flowers away from direct sunlight. Although preserved, your flower may lose some colour over time.
