Porcelain tea light holder by ceramicist Rebecca Cowie, sold individually.

Rebecca uses the fine and translucent qualities of porcelain to create exquisite candle holders, each one unique. She is inspired by the beauty of nature, using natural materials like seed heads, corn and nuts to create the textures in the porcelain. The candle holders can be used decoratively as objects in their own right, but they really show their beauty when lit and glowing, especially in groups. Each piece is individual and reflects Rebecca’s following of the Japanese concept Wabi Sabi; a concept which believes in the beauty of “perfect, imperfection “.

Rebecca studied Ceramics at Camberwell college of Arts. She lives and works in Camberwell and also works at the Kilnroom studios in Peckham.
