Our April Seasonal Series flower is the Bluebell. Every month we release a limited number of of pressings. Collect one per month for a complete a set of twelve unique pressings that reflect the English garden through the seasons. A thoughtful gift for birthdays, new babies or just for yourself.

The Bluebell has been preserved using the traditional method of flower pressing and mounted on cream 1400 micron mount board. Each individual specimen is framed by a subtle border scored into the mount, with plant name written in calligraphy giving this traditional art form a crisp modern finish. Although preserved, the unique nature of the flower continues to change very slowly over time. Pressed botanicals will inevitably lose colour, although they will never lose their form. We celebrate this as part of a flower’s ephemeral beauty. No two pressings are the same, each one has it’s own individual character.

These A5 pressings are sold either unframed with a protective translucent envelope, or framed in our classic aluminium 5mm x 35mm matte black frame with UV conservation ArtGlass to offer maximum protection from exposure to light. We advise hanging your pressed flowers away from direct sunlight to prevent them fading quickly. All pressings come with the flower name in calligraphy.
